I'm also a designer who makes constraints look like choices. I'm a systems thinker at home in ambiguous 0 to 1 work. I design with AI in the terminal, meeting engineers where they work.
I'm a Staff Product Designer at Docker with fifteen-plus years across telecom, e-commerce, and developer tooling. I care less about the pixels than the story underneath them.
I almost didn't end up here. I attended Algonquin College's Computer Science program for exactly one day. The professor made a Lord of the Rings joke and the entire auditorium laughed except me. For whatever reason, that was the moment I realized this field wasn't for me. I switched to Advertising, finished the three-year program, and still wasn't satisfied. So I enrolled in the three-year Graphic Design program. That one stuck.
Through school and for a few years after, I ran a clothing line and worked with artists like Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, Belly, XO, and the late Mac Miller. That's where I learned a brand is really just a story people want to belong to.
I'm still close with my high school friends, decades later. I'm a big believer in building relationships and I thrive on them. Connecting with people has never been hard for me. I love sharing stories, swapping histories, and getting to know what makes someone tick.
Off the clock I'm a dad of two, plus two golden retrievers, Bohdi and Louie. I'm an avid runner and a volunteer youth hockey coach in Ottawa. That's the part that keeps the stories real.
